Resume
The article defines the essence of freight forwarding services, considers the features of the provision and development of freight forwarding services in global supply chains.
The modern regulatory framework regulating the organization of freight forwarding services in global supply chains is outlined.
A forecast analysis of the volumes of the global logistics market from 2024 to 2033 is carried out, which indicates a gradual growth in the volumes of the logistics market. The third largest logistics market in the world is the European market, in which Ukrainian freight forwarding companies actively operate. A comparative analysis of the development of large and small logistics freight forwarding companies in Ukraine is carried out.
It is determined that the biggest trend in the development of freight forwarding services is the digitalization and automation of logistics processes.
A conceptual model for the development of freight forwarding services in global supply chains is proposed.
The prospects for the development of freight forwarding services in global supply chains are determined.
It is emphasized that the transformation of freight forwarding services is actively influenced by modern general trends of digitalization, sustainable development and greening, which in turn will ensure sustainable supply chains.
