Resume
Purpose: analysis of the relationship between human development and digital readiness as a key factor in the digital transformation of countries, determination of directions for using the potential of digital transformation to accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The research used the following methods: theoretical generalization, abstract-logical and formalization (systematization of theoretical provisions regarding the methodological foundations of research), regression analysis (determining the relationship between human development and digital readiness); abstract-logical and graphic (visual presentation of results). The empirical part of the study was performed on the example of data from  121 countries of the world for 2020. With the use of a one-factor regression model, it is proved that there is a direct close connection between human development indices and digital readiness of countries, as well as the key role of  digital readiness in the variation of the Human Development Index.
