Анотація
Статтю присвячено узагальненню особливостей функціонування двох секторів економіки: зарубіжного (як сукупності бізнесових одиниць, які належать українським материнським компаніям, але оперують на території інших країн) та іноземного (як сукупності бізнесових одиниць, які оперують на українській території, але належать материнським компаніям з інших держав). Актуальність цього дослідження обумовлюють вимоги забезпечення єдності та прозорості ринку (зокрема енергетичного). На підставі узагальнення характеристик зарубіжного та іноземного секторів запропоновано оригінальні терміни для властивих цим секторам одиниць бізнесу: «фірма-донька» та «фірма-невістка». У зв’язку з впливом фірм-доньок і фірмневісток розглянуто можливі загрози транспарентності ринку, зокрема, на тлі застосування прийомів економіки кооптування. Визначено, що основними мотивами сучасного поширення практики введення в  певну національну економіку фірм-невісток є полювання за технологіями, інформацією, зниження бар’єрів доступу до ринку, а також отримання певних субсидій, що може порушити умови доброчесної конкуренції на ринку. Зазначене обумовлює необхідність  запобіжних дій на законодавчому рівні. Зокрема це стосується сучасного регуляторного акту ЄС щодо єдності та прозорості оптового ринку енергії (REMIT), який потребує удосконалень, що здатні запобігти ризикам втрати прозорості ринку та порушення доброчесності бізнес-суб’єктами в умовах застосування прийоми економіки кооптування.
